_ Alycia is a bay area singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Oakland, CA. Somewhere between folk and alternative pop, her lyric-driven music is at once simple, poignant and catchy. Her solo project is marked by a stripped down feel with intricate and unique turns of phrase. She began her music career early at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she trained as a classical singer for nearly four years in the preparatory division. She released her first full-length pop record at age 15 in the United Kingdom with platinum selling producer and musician Craig Pruess (Cliff Richard, Sarah Brightman, Joe Cocker) and followed up with two EPs of her original music produced in collaboration with two more Grammy Award Winning writers and engineers, Gardner Cole (Madonna, Chaka Kahn) and Isha Erskine (Ziggy Marley). After her time at the conservatory and the releases of her Album and EPs, she spent several years exploring other musical genres, from jazz to folk, heading up all sorts of musical ventures from acapella groups to full bands. In recent years, she's finally landed back in the vibrant music scene in Bay Area, where she regularly performs with several bands including Waterstrider, Bows, and Idea The Artist.

_ Go By Ocean emerges from San Francisco’s Mission Bells Studios with their debut album Paper Thin Hotel produced by local legends Tim Bluhm (of the Mother Hips) and David Simon-Baker (who has produced Los Lobos, Jackie Greene, The Mother Hips, and ALO). Their ethereal yet bold indie sound has been honed by years of live performances throughout the Bay Area, including an ongoing residency at Phil Lesh’s venue Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael. Lead vocalist Ryan McCaffrey and guitarist/vocalist Craig MacArthur conceptualized Go By Ocean's warm sound in sunny Southern California. They soon found the band’s true home in San Francisco. Go By Ocean perfected their unique sound through their love for playing live, developing the moods of their debut album. This album emulates a diverse sonic spectrum, from radiant and inspiring to dark and mournful, painting harmonic pictures that support lyrics steeped in empathy and yearning, documenting struggles that evolve into hope.
